Pardon us while we update the web site.

Welcome to Our Texas, where being informed about life and lifestyles in Texas is covered, uncovered and discovered or rediscovered. It is unlike any other space online. We aim to be a welcomed departure from traditional American journalism, raising the profile of our voices absent in mainstream media and engaging anyone interested in our culture around the world.

We pay special attention to the lifestyle and culture of the African Diaspora throughout the Lone Star State. Our intent is to record contemporary thoughts and aspirations of those whose desire a better Texas and aspire to a better tomorrow as soon as possible.

Read about Texans who, by their efforts, serve as a reminder of the best this state has to offer.

Discover what our subscribers have in common: entrepreneurship, political and social advocacy, and a great creative spirit in the people we cover in every quarterly issue.

Enjoy catching up with the real Who’s Who, the latest from HBCUs, special blogs and columnists, like William July, Charles O’Neal, James Mardis, Cary Clack and Sheron Patterson. All within a statewide perspective.

We’ve taken a different approach about your health and wellness with MindBodySpirit. You connect with helpful, enlightened information from experts across the state who are interested in how to make your life healthier and happier. MindBodySpirit promotes the physical, mental, and spiritual well being of Texans and their families. A trusted source, MindBodySpirit directly impacts its target audience by serving as an essential guide to healthy living.
